How to make Gmail as the default browser? - Alanmax - 06-02-2021

If you are using Gmail and want to make it as the default email service in the Firefox browser then, you should keep your Firefox browser up-to-date. You will need to select the main menu button which is represented by the three horizontal lines.

Remember that the steps might slightly vary depending on only up the version of Firefox you're using, but generally, these instructions should guide you to set Gmail as your default email service in the Firefox browser.

You cannot make Gmail as the default browser. Gmail is an email service, while a browser is a software application for accessing and viewing websites

If you are referring to setting Gmail as the default email handler for email links clicked in a web browser:

Google Chrome:
Open Chrome.
Click on the three dots in the top-right corner to open the menu.
Go to "Settings."
Scroll down to the "Privacy and security" section.
Click on "Site settings."
Scroll down to "Handlers" and select "Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols."
